Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain databases, review and produce documents, organize and manage data, coordinate with 3rd party vendors, develop trial presentation materials, prepare and archive client material and data for closing.
- Administer firms’ litigation support software.
- Design databases and establish workflow to support efficient document reviews.
- Manage the implementation of database systems, external web-based document repositories, external web-based case management tools, etc.
- Manipulate data load files between litigation review platforms to assure quality and cost efficiency of document review projects and document management.
- Provide consultation to all offices concerning ESI for collections, processing, review and production.
- Demonstrates platform/software expertise on core eDiscovery tools/applications including Relativity, Brainspace, and Blackout.
- Keeps abreast of emerging eDiscovery litigation support technology and processes, finding opportunities to adjust and implement the technology and processes into the eData System where appropriate.
- Consult with practice teams to identify and implement best practices for the identification, preservation, collection, analysis, processing, review, and presentation of paper and electronic discovery materials
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients, attorneys, paralegals and vendors.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in electronic discovery data processing in a law firm setting.
- Knowledge in the litigation process and the use of technology to support litigation and e-discovery efforts: CloudNine, Relativity, Reveal, Disco, Case Notebook, Ipro, Opus, Trial Director and other litigation support applications.
- Experience working with scanning software and ESI vendor experience.
- Experience working with eDiscovery vendors on pricing and budget/project management.
- Experience designing databases within eDiscovery platforms and workflows to facilitate the review of ESI
- Experience with technical aspects of eDiscovery such as loading and promoting data, culling, de-duping, de-NISTing, threading, etc.
- Experience with large cases, including document collections, reviews, and productions.
